In the past, condition maintenance has been the province of a central data management group, and the fact that the standard standard authorization objects for condition maintenance controlled items existed at a fairly general level was not critical. One option when looking to control condition maintenance at a more specific level is to use an implementation of the /SAPCND/ROLLNAME Business Add-In (BAdI) to provide input help, control search criteria, and confirm authorization to view and maintain data.
