If you have ever gone to an SAP system site for a trouble-shooting engagement or joined a project after the initial configuration was done, you know how frustrating it can be to determine how the chart of accounts is being used in configuration. Even if you know all the transaction codes to directly access various account determination configuration tables, it takes time to run them and assemble the assorted data in one place. SAP has provided the capability to provide this information in one report, but it is tucked away in a little-known component, Audit Information System (AIS). AIS comes delivered but requires configuration to get all the reports.
