SAP ERP HCM implementations often result in historical data conversion business requirements that emerge at the beginning of a project or later during an implementation. These requirements could result from one of the following circumstances:

  • Retirement of legacy systems to reduce maintenance dollars, removal of outdated technology, or a reaction to a lack of vendor support
  • Union agreements that require data and calculations to go back a few years
  • Compliance and retention policies that mandate the storage and access of historical data
