Release 6.10 now comes with a powerful feature that provides support for open, standards-based data exchange - ABAP-XML serialization. Its power derives in part from the underlying asXML format, which is the basis for representing ABAP data in XML. This article describes the asXML format for all data types and examines object serialization in detail so you can take advantage of this feature in your own environment.
