Configure your system to send a daily activity report displaying all infotype changes to an individual’s inbox with these step-by-step instructions.
If you or your manager needs to monitor HR data maintenance, this process could save you significant time and energy. In my previous SAPexperts article, “Improve Maintenance of Your PA30 Records: Leave a Trace,” I explained how to generate a log report via transaction PA40 to track infotype changes.

Now I’ll describe a simple method in which your system can send daily activity reports to an individual’s inbox automatically. For additional convenience, you can configure your system to send log reports as a daily background job. I’ll walk you through the necessary steps to create a background job in R/3 or SAP ERP that routinely routes daily activity reports to the appropriate person. This process is intended to track and forward changes made in the system and should not be used for compliance purposes.
