In this detailed video clip and accompanying written instruction, learn how to quickly create analytic views in SAP HANA by defining the view, joining tables, and setting measures and attributes.

SAP HANA Studio is the client-side tool that you use to interact with your SAP HANA system as well as create any resources to access your HANA data.

Beginning in the SAP HANA Studio Modeler perspective, the Quick Launch page and links to create different types of resources are available.

To give some overview of the Navigator panel on the left, the Catalog folder shows you the different schemas on the HANA database. Inside each schema, you have access to the respective tables, views, and column views. Inside the Security folder are the different users that have been established as well as the roles that are available to allow certain actions to be performed. Finally, the Content folder shows the various packages that have been created. Packages are collections of HANA collateral.

Now let’s follow the detailed steps for creating an analytic view. I suggest you watch my video demo below and follow along with this written article.
